We went as a big group to santa monica, and I had to do paintings for my class, so i brought a bunch of paint and small canvases and painted in the dark on the beach. This painting class was the turning point for me in the art department at ucla, after that i was so over it, and our registrar had to beg me to take another studio the next quarter.
